But many people avoid it and try to make themselves happy by chasing ever-higher goals or holding themselves to a greater standard of perfection.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Happiness is the emotion of how good we feel on a day to day basis, but it also varies from person to person. Do you know 40% of our happiness is controlled by our thought processes, activities and behaviours? Part of our happiness is also recognised by our hardships and working through them is part of our life.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: justify;">I will suggest to you all that enter this new year with nothing but to put yourself on your priority list focusing only on YOU. Say no to things that don&#8217;t make you happy, don’t do things to be on another good list. Nourish your mind and body and give yourself some downtime. We bought for you a few points on how you can make your 2022 happier for yourself &#8211;</p>

<li>Make time for yourself (Me time) &#8211; It’s okay to make time for yourself. Getting some downtime and sitting aside to take rest is so important for your own wellbeing. Do whatever you like reading, journaling, watching movies or playing games or just a good sleep. It&#8217;s so important to calm your mind and meet your needs.</li>

<li>Don’t feel guilty &#8211; We often feel guilty or selfish when we prioritize ourselves. Just remember you are not answerable to others and you don’t need to justify if you give importance to yourself.</li>

<li>Learn to say the word “No” &#8211; Remember it&#8217;s not important to say YES every time to others. In today’s world, life is hectic so don’t neglect your own needs to fulfil everyone else’s.</li>

<li>Be around positivity &#8211; Be friends with those people who lift you up, encourage you and provide you with a ray of hope. Friendship is like holding one another and if you don’t have that one friend there is no point in sticking on it. Stick to those people that provide you with the feeling of sunshine.</li>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As the new year is approaching, take the resolution to shake your life and make yourself the priority. Don’t be in doubt about yourself and don’t go far away from your goals. Focus on yourself.</p>

We all want to be happy, but did you ever realize what does that mean? And how can we get happiness? One thing I can say you that, it is something that doesn’t exist outside of yourself, it’s not something you need to search or find. You need to create your own happiness, it’s within yourself.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">You can’t buy happiness in your life, it’s a certain feeling that you experience. You can’t say its related to luxury or money which you live. It’s simple joy in your life which gives your true happiness to you.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: justify;">We all are aware of pursuit of happiness which tells us that happiness is out somewhere to be found. But I would say forget about this concept as happiness is a personal thing it has everything to do with you and nothing to do with others. We must figure out how to take things that happens in life and make the best out of those situations. Look towards the positive side and be happy.</p>

<li>The wake-up time – Always make a routine and wake up at the right time which will reduce your last-minute urgency and helps you to start your day with happiness. So, try to sleep early and wake up early. The sunrise will provide you with freshness for your entire day. Try it and follow it and see the change.</li>

<li>Exercise &#8211; Exercise not only helps for physical fitness but also mind and soul. It makes your show your intellectual power. A short walk or run everyday in every morning will help you to feel happy.</li>

Now, this medication is gaining ground as a promising treatment for some cases of major depression, which is the <a href="https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/depression" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">leading cause of disability worldwide</a>. In the US, recent estimates show <a href="https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/statistics/prevalence/major-depression-among-adults.shtml/index.shtml" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">16 million adults had an episode of major depression</a> in a year. Suicide rates rose substantially between 1999 and 2016, increasing by <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/67/wr/mm6722a1.htm?s_cid=mm6722a1_w" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">more than 30% in 25 states</a>. Because of its rapid action, ketamine could have a role to play in helping to prevent suicide.</p>

<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">It’s not entirely clear how ketamine works. Because it exerts an antidepressant effect through a new mechanism, ketamine may help people successfully manage depression when other treatments have not worked.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">One likely target for ketamine is NMDA receptors in the brain. By binding to these receptors, ketamine appears to increase the amount of a neurotransmitter called glutamate in the spaces between neurons. Glutamate then activates connections in another receptor, called the AMPA receptor. Together, the initial blockade of NMDA receptors and activation of AMPA receptors leads to the release of other molecules that help neurons communicate with each other along new pathways. A process known as synaptogenesis is likely to affect mood, thought patterns, and cognition.</span></p>
<p>Ketamine also may influence depression in other ways. For example, it might reduce signals involved in inflammation, which has been linked to mood disorders, or facilitate communication within specific brain areas. Most likely, ketamine works in several ways simultaneously, many of which are being studied.</p>
